By doing this, they are able to ensure that jobs which make the maximum impact on their lives are completed. This is the 1st rule to be successful.

Successful people have countless demands on their time. But they know what it is that they want to accomplish and are willing to say no to other projects if they have to. By focusing on the big prize, they are able to ensure their success.
Use Short Bursts of Energy
Successful People learn how to manage their energy and focus. Breaking up their work day in short work segments keep them feeling energized. Taking these breaks are important to give a rest to your mind and body and renew the energy for doing more work in the same day.
Prepare for each day
Successful people plan and prioritise their life by making a list of the most essential tasks they need to complete each day. By doing so, they are able to give the maximum time to the jobs that are the most important.
Reflect on your work
Successful People set aside time during the week to reflect on themselves and their work. Reflection gives them the opportunity to see what has been working and what hasn’t.
Disconnect in order to connect
Successful People disconnect from their work over the weekend and spend their time connecting with friends or family and enjoying their hobbies. Breaking away ensures that their energy is renewed and the mind becomes fresh and gets them ready for the next day.
